Breakfast with my kids :)

The Boise State Cheerleaders. :)
Ryan and Melissa.  Ask Ryan why his new nickname is SS when you see him!
After two and a half hours we had the waitress take a group
picture and finally let some of the people in the lobby get our table!
The little sign says "A Toast to Lindsey" because she couldn't
join us for breakfast and we really missed her.  The commute
from Scotland was just a little too long. :)
Ryan ordered French Toast in honor of Lindsey -- her
favorite Smitty's breakfast.
The perfect breakfast:  half order of Eggs Benedict and one
strawberry roll-up.  My favorite!!
Rikki made the trip from Arizona.  I have now known her
for twenty years! Weird!
Ryan the Dentist!
Melissa was able to join us which was very fun. Celby's arm is in the pic.
Celby with a picture of some drunk lady at her wedding! :)
Class of 98 reunited...
We all dressed in black and gray except Melissa.  She didn't get the memo.
My new purse charm. Says "love me love my cat".  Very cute.  Thanks Rikki!
Celby Jo :)
Ryan.... don't know what he is doing...

Christmas Dinner with my new group of kids

Merry Christmas everyone!  These are pictures of my current and
future student aides.  We had a Christmas dinner the day school
got out for vacation.  These kids make me laugh out loud -- they
are hilarious and really really sweet.  Devin is our token boy in the
group.  He survived the evening because we let him watch football on tv. :)
Hope you all get to meet this group of kids of mine someday if you don't
already know them.  They are awesome and I love them all.

Birthday Party: The Sequel

This was the theme of the party.  We were getting Devin back
for silly-stringing the girls at their party. :)
Thumbs up for a fun time had by all. :)
Devin is really shy -- hard to get him to come out of his shell. :)
Present #2

Present #1

Morgan's shoe with silly string all over the bottom.
Devin's "mean" face.

The girls are happy with their revenge, Dev not so happy.

Our favorite pic.  He has no idea yet that he is about to be covered with
silly string.  He thinks he is about to play pin the tail on the donkey. :)
Twister.  Too many pics of this to post.
Devin and Morgan.  Aren't they cute??? :)
Finger painting was our first activity.  Natalie is a pro.  Dev needs some
work on this!

The Birthday Boy.
Emily getting the party started...
Look at all of those presents!

Witches!

I know, a lot of pictures!  But I'm just going to let the pics speak for
themselves.  The party was fun and we laughed a lot.  Our only serious
injury was Mel burning her finger with the glue gun and having to walk
around with an icebag the rest of the night.  Don't you think the witches
are darling?  (The people and the paper witches!)  Thanks everyone for
coming to the party and if you couldn't make it this time, maybe the next one.

Not a Costume Party!

Scary Twins!  Pam and Lise did not get the memo
that this was NOT a costume party!
Actually, they were dressed for the Emotion Bowl
but I didn't realize that when I first saw them!
Jockey Kelly Gardner also showed up in costume.
Made quite an entrance! :)

Inservice Presentation: Out of Textbook Experiences.

Along with having grades due and having a Witch party, I also had
to do a presentation at our fall inservice (all on the same day!)  Uugh!
LeAnn and I taught two sessions back-to-back of "Out of Textbook
Experiences."  One group was just like a typical classroom where it only
takes a few to ruin things for the whole class.  Teachers (COACHES...) can be the
very worst students.  :(  They could at least pretend to appreciate all of the
work that went into preparing our presentation...

Our other group was absolutely FABULOUS and everyone got into the spirit
of things and made the session really fun.  Thanks to all of you (and no, I'm not naming
names.  You know if you were fun or not!)  This session was like an honors class
where everyone goes above and beyond and makes it really fun to be a teacher. :)

LeAnn's pink t-shirt shows our new school motto:
We've upped our standards, now up yours!
We will be wearing stickers with the
same saying at parent/teacher conferences. (Not really but I wish we could!)  :)

Future Professional Photographer?

This is what happened when Kelly Gardner was given camera duty
at Garcia's.  Do you think she should change careers and become a
professional photographer? :)
This is what the picture was supposed to be... I'm not sure
which one I like better.... Hmmm. :)  Thanks, Kelly!
